Changing the oil

If any of you change the oil in your RX8 yourself, what tips do you have? I used to have some steel ramps years ago when I had my '85 RX7, but sold them when I sold the car (that brings back memories of the up-side-down oil filter).

Do a search on "Oil Change" there's lots of good info here. I did it myself with the help of the DIY Oil Change for Dummies, and I didn't have a single problem.

Quick simple tip: Get the right tools, they help a LOT!

I've heard ramps work, but I used a jack so I could jack up the left side of the vehicle and get more oil to drain out. (it's all spelled out in the threads)

Btw, if your monkey does a bad job on an oil change and makes a mess, please don't spank your monkey :p

OK, this is starting to sound like a Lounge thread, and the question has been answered. So rather than moving this to the Lounge, I've closed it before it gets any sillier.
