Anyone heard of any possible changes to the 2006 RX-8? I'm planning on getting an RX-8 when I get back from overseas in Feb. 06. I'm sure there will be some 05's still around that I could pick up for cheap. I was just wondering if the 06' was going to have any major updates.

 

This has been discussed in great detail--do a search for 2006--but in short most don't expect anything but new colors and possibly a 5 or 6spd auto to go with the 6-port renesis replacing the current 4-port model in the US. Welcome to the board by the way.

Actually it's almost the end of June. Why is it that we still haven't heard anything? Remember last year when they released a complete list detailingALL the changes/additions to their models and new releases?

 

Watch all Mazda is going to do is drop the green and bring in the darker blue as they stated, and possibly toss in a keychain with purchase. It will be the sequel to the 2005 upgrades they did (Drop yellow bring in white, and give them a key fob).

 

I've heard the Auto will get 238hp.
