CEL on..electronics dont work

Yesterday, I took my car for detailing. Once I was done with it I noticed that the CEL was on(Not blinking). The car electronics dont seem to work (Remote lock, Radio, display etc). Also the needles for fuel, oil etc dont return to their 0 position after the engine is turned off.

I have an appt, will see what they say.

same happened to me when my visor broke, the red and black wires in the broken visor shorted a bunch of fuses out. It should be a simple fix.

Yep dillsrotary, the main fuse was blown out. Suspected cause, some (coins) cents cigarette lighter must have shorted the circuit.

Sounds like a fuse blew out. Should be pretty simple to fix. Check your fuses.
