I've seen alot of postings about CEL's ... just curious if this is the same problem.

Just pulled out of the dealer lot (41km or 25 miles on the meter), took it for a round-the-block spin. I decided to head up a steep 200m incline, on 3rd gear, 5000rpm, and BAM CEL light comes on.

Leveled off the top of the hill, downshifted to 2nd.. and came to a full stop. After 15 secs the light disappeared. Is this normal behavior, or should I be worrying already!?

So I read the manual, and it states I should take it into servicing (but only if the CEL stays on permanently). Is that correct?

Take it in and get it checked, could be anything. It's under warrenty, so why not?

I had a similar problem, turned out I had fouled spark plugs.
