Cars and Guitars
This is probably the wrong place for this, but here it goes anyway... 80% of my local RX-8 owners play guitar. Is this a trait of the RX-8 owner or is this unique for my area? I've noticed a few on here, including myself that play.
I think you may be onto something...
We should have a local Rx-8 jam session haha
I use to play my guitar many moons ago(maybe 15 to 20 years ago) I know, sad right? It's a fun instrument to mess with. I maybe able to get away with playing stairway to heaven if i was to pick up a guitar at this moment, lol, maybe.... Rx8's and guitars ? Hell yeah!

Been playing for about 10 years now. I slimmed my pedal board down as I get several of the effects I want like reverb and chorus off my half stack. Been through many guitars but these are the ones I shred on now, two custom Ibanez's.

Played Bass in multiple band from the late 80s until around 2000. Then I switched to acoustic guitar/lead vocals for a 3 piece acoustic band for 6 years. Don't play much anymore, but still pick it up once in awhile. Still have all my gear (except my lovely Trace Elliot rig I swapped for a Red Head in the late late 90s. Biggest mistake I ever made
I have 2 partscaster strats, a partscaster tele, A breedlove acoustic, and shitty old 12 string and a kit LP knockoff that's terrible. I have a Mesa Boogie DC-3 as my one and only amp.
Previously i've had a Vox AC15cc, a Fender Blues Deluxe RI, a 1970 Fender Champ, and a 1975 Fender Super twin. I've had too many guitars over the years to name off, but the two i miss the most are my Gretsch Double Anni and a Fender Tele Nashville.

I am just starting to learn how to play guitar.... BUT... my to be father-in-law has moved up to jersey, he left 15 guitars down here. all signed. I have a couple others that I practice on which are on wall mounts in my home office but I am thinking of converting one of our guestrooms into a music room. Hang all the guitars up for show
Apparently we have 2 bass guitars which are 2 of only 8 ever made. I dont know a hell of a lot about guitars as I play sax but from what the in law tells me they are $$$

Played classical guitar for many years, but a slight case of Dupuytrens's contrature has made it very difficult to play.
So for now, I'll just have to listen to the beautiful Ana Vidovic.

Redline. Nice rig. I really like the Ibanez guitars also, but my baby is a Mahogany Jackson Soloist with tiger striped maple top and ebony fret board. The Seymour JB4 pickup combined with a Marshall JCM 800... is tone heaven for me. Are those Elixir strings? I prefer D'Addario and I went to .009's, but had to add a spring to my Floyd Rose. Richer tone ya know. How's that Bad Monkey? I haven't tried that yet, but they sure are popular. I also see that you understand the pedal sequence.
