Car and Driver best handling car under $100,00

The good "old" 8 placed 3rd in this months C&D comparo. Just under the Porsche Boxster ,Lotus Elise and ahead of the M3. All these cars are double the price and more. This has been going on for years of testing, is Mazda the worst marketing company?
