About 5 years ago I traded in my 8 in to get a BMW 335i. The 335i Is a great car and I loved it. However over the years of owning the 335i I noticed there was something missing. The 335i is a power monster, the handling is still great(not as great as rx8) the fuel efficiency is better than an 8 and the ride is quiet and luxurious. BUT as i said i noticed there was something missing. What the 335i lacks is character/personality. Everyone and their moms also have bmw 3 series. So about a month ago 5 years after being happily paired with my 335i...I Ran into a friend of mine that still has his 8 and i took it for a spin. I had almost forgotten how much I love the 8. After that day I started searching for an R3 like a hawk and finally found one. I am now the owner of a slightly used 2009 Aurora Blue R3. It says a lot about a car if you go back to one...and there really is nothing like that 8 and often times you wont know how much you really love it until its gone. With that said if you are serious about selling the 8 the only other car i can think of that are similar in feel and performance would be Honda s2k. -goodluck!
