I already have 215 miles on my first tank, and the gauge is just below 1/4, so I'm thinking yes...

i am but i have yet to go past 7 g and thats on accident. plus i really love the low gears i would say on a 1234 gears compared to the 56 its a 20-1 ratio

 

215 just under the quarter tank left is around 18mpg id kill to have that :/ i usually have 180 just under a quarter or a tank left

 

16.5 mpg then 17 mpg. mostly around town stuff.

 

My last tamk I got 10.3 mpg. You are not trying hard enough!

 

Let's see..... 259.5 miles, 11.876 to fill = 21.85. This was 225 freeway miles and the rest in town. The prior fill with all freeway miles was 25.04. These figures are approx. 3 mpg above my average and reflect my change to an aFe drop-in air filter and Shell V-Power gas.

 

I got 7.8MPG my last tank. 152.8 miles 19.6 gallons. Track day is a killer on gas mileage.

Just calculated my very first tank of gas (picked car up Tuesday).

237 miles, 13.3 gallons = 17.8 mpg.

Not too bad considering it is the first tank. I was taking it pretty easy though.

 

19.6 gallons in an RX8??

 

Forgot to add that was a RX-7 with 1600cc injectors...

 

I remember another forum member doing 8mpg on a track....

 

When I went out to CA Speedway I got around 8.3 mpg Didnt even have enough fuel to make it home.... I only live about 30 minutes away.

 

I do 0 mpg everyday... idling in my garage hehe
