i got both cars, the impresa wrx would come out faster cause of the awd, the rx8 will win a race, we talking about a stock regular wrx, not the STi.

yes normal wrx use to beat me of the lin but with my 275 falken 615s in the rear i lanch at 7500rpm with hardly little spin and take normal wrx of the line now but with astock tires i couldnt

The average of the big 3 magazines puts them within 9/100ths of a second.

 

ive ive yet to see a stock wrk go faster then 14.7 at cal speedway and i did a 14.561 at 96mph at cal speed way.

Hey guys i'm going to just try to end this right now cuz i want to go to sleep. I love rx8s. Really nice car imo, I got my wrx cuz i live in chicago and a rx8 is just not practical for the winter. In my experiance when i play with my friends 8 i pull on him, but he has also pulled on me. You guys have been great though out this whole thread i really enjoyed this little discussion. this bored is a little to slow moving but i will still check it out every so often. Cheers

 

then you should contact me next time you in NY, ill race my WRX agains your Rx8 and my RX8 against your wrx i can assure you you wont be able to read my license plate, i love both cars, but truth like a genious once said, SEARCH! my talon used to beat the **** outta reg wrx and i only had a straight 3 inch pipe 220 hp.

 

From a roll stock for stock a '05 or older WRX will keep about even with an RX-8 til nearly 100 at which time the RX-8 will inch away. From a dig with close to equal drivers the WRX should win every time 0-60 and 1/4 mile. Anyone who thinks differently is fooling themselves. There are of course exceptions due to the driver. Also, they dyno almost excatly the same and I've seen them run on the same dyno and come within a few hp of one another.


Oh, and Toca, you're full of **** and are a perfect example of why there is no streetracing on forums and it's a crime what you do to the english language. You want a WRX to race in Socal I'll find you one, would you prefer a 10, 11, 12, or 13 second one?
