Buying a 2007 RX8

Hey Guys,

I need some advice. I have been looking at a few brand new 2007 RX8 at local dealers. They are offering a 10k discounts on all 2007. I think this is such a great deal. Is there any caution I should be aware of on getting a brand new 2007 RX8?

yeah... check the tires for dry rot, require they change the oil, tranny fluid, coolant, spark plugs... battery... that should do it.
It's NOT good for a car to sit motionless for two years.

I just purchased a 2007 new off the lot a couple of months ago.

No problems with it so far.

Sounds like I could have waited a bit longer and saved some more cash, though.

Oh, well, with my luck, I would have waited and the car would be gone.

Well where i am at, Toronto Canada, it seems each dealership have at least 2 of them sitting around. It seems no one wants them here..probably cuz its too gas inefficient.

Well.. at least guys like us who wants one can get a good discount off of them.

Do it man...I just did that.

No one lives forever...it basically cost like a VW Jetta/Golf for a special car.

Rx8 are special...whether you hate it (specially retarded gas mileage and zero torque) or love it (best thing since sliced bread), the moment you step on the gas at the right gear, or when you accelerate THROUGH the on ramps to highways, you know you have reached nirvana...

Then you gotta get a gas station and refill. then repeat again...

btw, thanks for the tip about those refill thing...gotta ask the dealship to take care of that...
