Buying an 04 rx8
Hello, i'm about to buy a 2004 rx8 and was wondering about the warming up of the engine before going anywhere, how long do i need to warm it up and if im in a hurry to go somewhere would it be bad if i didn't warm it up and just jumped in and took off?
Also, how many mpg do you all get?

Make sure all update on the car have been done , especially with an 04 . Mpg I get about 14 , so if thats an issue you might want to do a bit more thinking . Its something that gets talked about quite a bit . I take my car , turn on wait a minute and take off , you really done have to sit there and wait till it reaches ideal temps , just dont turn off till then .

its privately owned, im getting it for 6,000 because the engine had to be replaced, it only has like 7000 miles on it. I took it to a mechanic and he did a full check and said it was in good condition and what not with the exception of a couple of minor problems that i will fix.

I think there is a typo you said it was $6,000.
There are a lot of 04's out there that have had engines repaced and they sell everyday for $14,000, so my question is, outside of a couple of minor problems you will fix yourself...............what else may be wrong to explain the additional $8,000 drop in price?
