Was out doing some errands today and I found myself taking the longer route to each destination just because driving my rx-8 is such a pleasure. I used to drive a honda civic and even though it got great gas mileage i always tried to get home asap but now I find myself wanting to drive. its a great feeling and i just wanted to share. Im sure most of you can understand. :P

 

I haven't got mine yet because it's not at the dealer yet, maybe tomorrow. Also waiting for financing to go through, which I should know tomorrow. Right now, I'm driving a '01 Civic AT. Just can't wait to ride mine home, shoooot, I never once test drive it, lol. Oh yea, I'm still learning how to drive stick, man, won't that be a scary 20-something mile ride home from the dealer, LOL!

 

I hear you i came from an 02 civic AT. I picked up manual really easily just because im pretty add and shifting gives me something to do while im driving lol.

Same here, co-workers often wonder how I drive 72-80 miles 1 way to work. Really I completely enjoy ever moment of it. Use to get annoyed doing it in my Protege5, but in the 8 it is a pleasure.

 

Interesting. And I thought I was the only one to do that. Wife can't understand why it takes me 30 min. to drive 6 miles. If only she knew......................

 

Hehehe. My 1 hour lunch break usually entails me driving around for 50 mins, then buying a sandwich next door to work and scarfing it down on the way back in the door. Congrats Bullit!
