Talking Buy back/free service deal?

I took delivery of my '04 Sunlight silver AT with Sport pkg last Thursday (30 oct '03). Who does this buy back deal affect? My dealer had quoted me the 210hp for the AT and was wondering if they would be contacting me concerning this issue or do I have to call them? Anybodey with any more details about this. Thanks

To be eligible for the deal, you had to have ordered your vehicle prior to a cutoff date a few days after Mazda made the announcement back in late August.

All vehicles sold after that date should have been officially re-rated. Regardless of what your dealer told you, check the window sticker - you should find it says 197HP.

Be sure to really check the window sticker. My dealer was pretty slow at replacing the old stickers.

Interestingly, after I ordered my car, I printed out a sticker from the web-site, which said that the car made 247HP. However, when I received the car, the sticker then mysteriously had been altered to 238HP.

I thought that federal law required that the sticker remain with the vehicle, if not actually attached to the window, until it was delivered to the purchaser. Check your glove compartment.

Then you have an issue which you need to take up with your dealer.
