Bus Hit My Car!
Double parked in a city bus zone... getting out of the car the bus hit my door 
Only 4000k on my RX8!! Then the bus drive calls the cops and they give me a ticket for being parked in a Bus Zone!
Monday I will bring it to Mazda I think they will have to replace it with a brand new door!!
Sucks!!!

Bus Driver was such a Player hater!! Trust me if you would have seen the smile on his face when he looked at my damage!! I promise you he did not try to avoid my door when passing..
Yes it was 80% my fault .. But the bus driver could have tried to avoid it .. The street had tons of room for him to go around!

My door did not get ripped off the car.. It got ripped back hard to put in words a picture will be better .. It does not look that bad.. But I think they will have to replace the door... The door closes fine and is only damged in one area but the car is Brand New

Just imagine... there's a City Bus forum... and some driver is telling this story on the board... bus drivers around the world are laughing their asses off! I wonder if they keep score: Drive away from a "player" as he's running for the bus = 1 pt.; splash a "player" on the sidewalk = 2 pt.; Smack an open door on a "player's" sweet car while parked in the zone = 10 pts.
Sorry man, I really do feel for you... but ya just gotta appreciate the driver's point of view on this one.

I didn't want this to be my first post, ( haven't got my 8 yet ..soon! )..but I've been a city bus driver for 8 years.
You're right .....I'm laughing.
It's always the car driver's fault and he always gets the ticket. You're responsible for your door. :p

Got a quote today .. It did Not help the situation when the rep that sold me the car spent an hour telling me how bad I must feel
Bottom Line $875.00 for parts and Labour and that was after I did some heavy negotiations!
could have been a lost worse! But then again could have been a lot Better :D
