I went to my local dealership to order my new MS bumper. I think these guys are giving me the run around. It was supposed to be in today so I called. Now they are saying its on back order. Anyone else heard this?

 

im not surprised, i bought my car 3 weeks ago, and they told me they'd be able to get me a spoiler in 2-3 days, and it just came in yesterday. Guess those guys over at mazda and mazdaspeed don't really understand the flow of time

 

I'll bite. What's an MS bumper? If you ordered it today, why does it seem unrealistic that they might have to back-order the item? Just curious....

 

MS=MazdaSpeed. I hit a tree and cracked my bumber, so instead of replacing it w/ the stock one i am replacing it with the Mazdaspeed one. They PROMISED me it would be at the dealership TODAY. I hate driving around with my front bumper all messed up.

 

Nice idea, but it's worth the wait I guess.

Oh please -- a 3-week wait? You don't know what waiting is if you didn't pre-order your RX-8 and have to wait for it to be built, shipped overseas, and then wait for it to be released from port, then shipped to your dealership!!

Man, that is a bunch of BS! I hate dealerships. P.S. Did you ever receive what I sent you?

 

I bought my 8 on August 7th, ordered a spoiler to be installed by the dealer. It came in just before I put it away for winter in MID DECEMBER.


Hope they've improved!
