Brakes make click noise especially in reverse after first use?

My brakes make one click noise that I can hear in the car especially after going in reverse after they haven't been used for a bit.

Anyone have this issue? I'm thinking of taking it in, but of course it won't happen when I get there....

Thanks

ABS self test? also if it's rained the pads on the rears will rust to the rotors. they'll pop breaking free. while here at school it rained for a week straight. i park outside. it sounded like a gunshot the first time i moved it after.

The 8 does some type of ABS adjustment which you should hear once every 2 or 3 times you drive it. My 6 use to do that as well but it was everytime I would leave for work and it was more of a "clank" sound not so much a "clicking" but if you are only hearing it once I would guess that it's the normal ABS adjustment.

Yep, that sounds about right. It is a short clank. Didn't know that the ABS did self-adjustment. Thanks experts.

If its only in moving in reverse after being parked, it could just be the pads shifting that little bit in the caliper. They have a little tab on them that keeps them pushed to one side so they don't clack back and forth when going switching directions. Time to actually pull the caliper off and look at the pads.
