I have an 04 rx8, and was wondering if the new 08 bose speakers would sound any better than my 04's? *my 04 sound fine* I was just wondering if they would sound any better, like have more bump. Or if i would be just waisting 150 bux

 

I'd say you're wasting your money. my 07 bose speakers sounded like muddy crap. They did re-design the speakers though ( I think) from the 04s. the crossover/amplifier/whateveritis is not mounted on the door panel, but fits over the speaker itself. I cant help but think that might make them sound worse, but be cheaper to manufacture and assemble.

 

I like my bose, I always thought it had absolutely no bass whatsoever so I installed subs. Im happy with my muddy crap
