Born again Virgin

Well not really but I went on a vacation for 10 days and was driving a Dodge Magnum (rental) from S. Cali to Yellowstone Natl Park in Wyoming/Montana. Man it sure does feel good to drive the 8 again. Firm brakes, nimble handleing small car feel, fast accelerations...its like I am drivnig the car for the first time again. Anyone one else have this experiance?

Or you could make your sig less annoying. We've all seen a stock 8 with some spraypainted calipers before, your photoshop job doesn't make it any more exciting.

A smaller resolution would only exasperate the problem. I have my resolution set as high as I can, and I am not likely to buy a new monitor any time soon. Not everyone is as great as you are.

I know the feeling all too well! my girl drives a 99 escort and I have a 97 Probe (4-banger) as well. After a weekend alone of dragging those 2 cars all over town, it's a relief to get back home in the 8. Most don't believe me when I say so, but I think the 8's A LOT more entertaining to drive around then even the 97 Cobra i keep in storage.

It's pretty awesome to completely love driving around yur DD. It's a first for me!

P.S. - my 8's comin with me for my 10-day vacation to Tennessee in a few weeks!

2 occasions:

1) After 5 day SUV rental due to RX8 repairs.

Felt much lower to the ground and connected to the road.

2) After 6 months of not driving the RX8.

When the storage facility drove the car outside and I got inside, a weird feeling of astonishment came back.... the weird feeling I got when I was buying the car for the first time. Sitting in a strange looking vehicle, all this leather, so different from what I am used to.... so cool.... the feeling lasted about 20 minutes.

I know exactly what you mean. I had to drive a lancer for two 1/2 weeks while my car was in the shop.
