Is a body kit typically lower than the regular bumper, or does everyone just lower it when they install them? Yes i know this seems like a stupid question to most of you, but i really don't know. If anyone can give an example, how much is the mazdaspeed body kit lower than stock bumper?

 

body kits are often lower than stock. however, people also lower their cars as well since many think it looks stupid to have a body kit with the huge wheel gap

 

^ Yep, get rid of the huge stock gap!. I lowered my car first, to see what clearance I could run a kit with. I'm still looking for that special look, just have not found it yet. All the kits are lower than stock.
