Block Heater

I know most of you could probably care less, but pretty much all vehicles in MN come with block heaters. Its kind of an automatic option.

I don't see it as an option for the RX8. Will I hurt this car, starting it in the dead of winter, without a block heater. It can get REALLY COLD here.

Do any of you Northern RX7 owners have comments on winter reliability?

Thanks

Mazda Canada ( www.mazda.ca ) lists a block heater as an option for the RX-8. I'm certainly going to get it!
