Best and worst parts of owning a rotary powered car
I thought it would be interesting to start a thread where everyone lists the one best and one worst thing about owning a rotary powered vehicle.
I'll go first:
Best: Explaining to others that I don't have a V6.
Worst: Gas mileage.

Best: No matter how much you baby it or beat the sh*t out of it, it gets a consistent 18MPG =), atleast for me anyways.
Worse: Having to explain to people what a rotary engine is and you dont have any cyclinders and them looking at you dumbfounded like you're from outer space. =O

Extraordinary Engineering
Best: How the car feels.
Worst: Having to agree that the car is 100 HP short of perfect.
Size of a four, power of a six, thirst of an eight, smoothness of a twelve.

best
- the unconventional sounds of engine that give it such character: whirly burble at idle, smooth alveolar trill as the revs rise, gorgeous unmuffled scream to the redline, turbine-like whine off throttle... i love it!
worst
- lost work productivity day-dreaming about the commute home

Insanely Yellow
Best: Every moment of driving
Worst: Tools like the guy who said "having to replace it at 20K" or the dork with the Blue 8 above with the JC Whitney picnic table wing making good 8 owners look like we're associated with these guys.
