Best place to get engine light checked?

My dealers have a long waiting list, so I was wondering if Autozone or Murrays have the necessary equipment to check MIL's and their origins on mazdas?

Autozone can do it...for free and in a matter of minutes.

they should be able to tell you what the code means, but here's a helpful site too:

You can also buy canscan yourself, its not too expensive. Search the forums for "canscan"

Took mine into the Dealer for the same issue my car had only 9500 Miles. The problem was a bad Oxygen sensor the dealer put in a new one and now all is good.

Auto Zone's scanner isn't CAN compatible. I tried it on my car and it wouldn't communicate...

if you have a check engine light, just roll up there (dealership). they shouldn't turn you down. it only takes a couple minutes.
