Base = Ratteling in Passanger door
Hey Guys,
I got sooo much ratteling going on, when I have that BOSE system going. But its abnormal because majoirty of its coming from the passanger side. When I pull the door in it stops (door is closed), but also the handle on the outside when pressed up against the body stops ratteling. WTF is going on? Will this be under warrenty? If so how should I approach those sneaky Mazda dealerships.
Thanks Alot

This may be the obvious but it wasn't for me. I had the same thing happen. Heard that rattling coming from door and I was stumped. Last night I took my sunglassses out of its receptacle above, and lo and behold the rattling stopped. But the sound really was coming from the door not from above ......weird. Anyway, take your glasses out if you have them up there and see if that helps. It was a simple fix for me, lol

A lot of people (almost everyone) have had this problem. Dealer has yet to actually fix the problem for most people from what I have seen. If they don't fix it then just get some Dynomat from your local audio shop and throw it in there around the speaker and that should fix the problem, I am having that done next time my car is in the audio shop for a couple things I have planned, because my dealer won't fix it....

I've got it too- thought it was CDs in the side pocket at first, but I can still hear a buzzing when they're out. Seems to happen most often when it's colder outside, so I'm pretty sure it's the little twistie-tie thing that has been discussed before.

I picked the car up on Friday and immediately noticed a rattle somewhere between the A-pillar and dash. If I put pressure on that area, it stops. It's induced by road vibrations.
I also noticed one in the driver's side doors. I haven't taken it to the dealer yet.

Some claim that this is the problem: https://www.rx8club.com/showthread.p...or+rattle+foam
There are foam blocks inside the door and loud base apparently makes them rattle. I don't know if this only happens in cars with the BOSE stereo or not. I don't have the BOSE and I don't have the rattle.
