Tried searching the forums and there was no solid answer that I saw...Sooooo

RX-8 Badge on the trunk lid has posts in it, confirm/deny

The majority seems to agree the Mazda tag and the 2 emblems have posts, but there are mixed reviews about wether the RX-8 tag has them or not.

I searched 'debadge" and found 41 results with a definitive answer to your question. Some posts even with step by step instructions for there removal.
