Bad day!!

So I got up this morning, got a car wash, gas, coffee etc. I look down in the passenger foot well where i had a magazine on the floor and there was a green liquid all over the magazine! i thought maybe it was the green soap from the car wash because it didn't smell like coolent. But regardless that's not good.. I took it to the dealership and they informed me that there is a major problem with the heating block or some crap like that and it might take two weeks to fix, and the green liquid was antifreeze!!! i just hit 7600KM, i thought I wouldn't have any problems because this car has been perfect! and now this@!@

sorry, just have to vent.. They gave me a bloody 4 door automatic civic.. Don't mean to hate on the civics but I have been so spoiled! damn! i'm so pissed, not at the car but just at everything, i never realized how much of an attachment i have with this car.. It's such a nice day that has now turned terrible!

anyone else ever get this problem?

Sorry to hear of your misfortunes. Hope you get your car back soon. I had a hard time being without mine for a week while it was in the body shop after the boy and his bike cracked the bumper.

These things are bound to happen on new vehicles and unfortunately you got one of the bad ones. Good luck on a speedy return.

Hope you get the car back quickly and all gets well. I know I'd be going through 8 withdrawal. Good luck.

hahahaha this day gets even betta!! My good friend has an S2000, and while i was waiting at the dealership he came by to grab his cell phone that was left in my car. So he goes across the street to the honda dealership for an oilchange. Oilchange finishes, i drop off my rental, wrote my first message about my car on this board we jump in s2000 and go for a drive. . . because it's a nice day out..

we're driving around, somebody on the road notices the car is smoking, we're like WTF! we pull over . . . . And the idiot who changed the oil didn't put the drain plug on properly so the car was bleeding oil everywhere, i mean there was an oil slick 1km long on a major street!! So now the car has no oil, have to toe the car back to the dealership and now he has a rental.

So now I'm driving a Honda Civic, and he's driving a Mazda 3 .. the irony in this is absolutley sickening!

So now i'm back home we both have rentals, and now we're just gonna drink and stay away from cars! isn't life grand? and that's why my name is MrJynx

Hmm....I guess I am in the same boat as some of you. I have a 98 Accord Coupe V6 and it died on me on the second left lane of a 4 lane road that turns (left) to the feeder road. Anyway, my friend and I push it to the right turn lane and within minutes, a policeman shows up, gets a wrecker to the car in less than 10 minutes. He was a dick at first and then at the end he was so cool along with the second officer that showed up. Take the car to the dealer and had one heck of a time unloading the car off the flat bed since the car sits so low to the ground. Got my car squared away with the service manager and now I'm car less...I get to drive my sister's Accord sedan, so no biggy. That right there, took up 4 hours of my day, not to mention, had to pass up lunch cause of this fiasco. It was a humbling experience though. Ah, if all goes well, I will be riding an RX-8 (or possibly another kind of car) in 3-4 weeks.
