apex accel controler

i recently bought harness and smart accel controler by apexi to help trottle and ecomy for my rx-8
while the instale appears straight forward Iam a little intimadated. has anyone done this install

Why? It does nothing but "fool" the electronic throttle control to open the throttle blade more... Or less... With respect to how much you're actually pressing the throttle pedal.

In other words:

If you want more power, press harder.
If you want more economy, press lighter.

No installation required. You're welcome.

I had to google what it was. You just wasted your money. The RX-8's electronic "drive by wire" throttle is the best out there, and there is no "delay" that the manufacturer claims and you can't open the throttle any more than the pedal already does. If you want a different throttle position, just change how far you put your foot down.

If you install it you will be risking severe damage for no possible gain, either in power or fuel economy. Return it if you can.
