I have been looking around into this site for some time and with all the issus the RX8 has had I have been hestiant to purchase one, I did really like this car when I test drove a 2004 one, but with all the flooding issues and relability problems I got a G35 coupe instead.

well I have been looking back into this car and came accross a mod for the OMP to place an adapter inbetween it that would run to a sperate tank that would meter Two - stroke oil to the combustion chamber for the seals rather then engine oil

I was wondering how many people on this forum have done this mod and do you think it has improved you MPG and maybe help prevent some of the flooding issues?

any answers could help me with my decision
