As the title states........anyone currently own two (or more) RX8s?

 

Dondo, Slvrstrk, I have a friend that used to own two, probably a few more out there.


Why?

 

I am up to 5 of them. 1 street car, 2 racecars, and 2 parts cars. my wife claims that I have a problem.

 

I should also note that 3 of those came from members here!

I am thinking about buying another one that is a little less-nice than the one I currently own so I will have one I can drive when I want to drive an RX8.

You want a 2nd RX-8 so when you want to drive an RX-8, you can drive your 2nd one? Is the 1st undrivable?

 

Lol, yeah I guess it doesn't make a lot of sense.

My current 8 is pretty close to flawless with fairly low miles, and I'd like to keep it that way. However there are a lot of days that I want to drive it but I won't because of threat of rain, parking lots, long distance drives, etc.

Soooo, I'd like to have one that is a little less-nice that I won't be so overly concerned about and will be willng to drive anytime I feel like drivng an 8 and not my truck or my wife's 6.

 

Ah. Ok. One to look at and one to drive.

Been to LRP in another car this year but I will have the RX8 at the NARRC championship race in September.

as far as a second car... I respect you for keeping one in great shape. I personally wouldn't waste the money but if you can why not! Its pretty cool to keep a collector and have it years from now.

HA! This coming from the guy with FIVE RX8s!

 

technically cheaper to buy a second cheap rx8 for say .. 5k now... than it is to lose money on the re-sell of the nice one plus not having to repair the nice one when you mess it up
