They insure the engine. As in what?

Because we do have the 10 year 100k warranty. I'm not sure what the 10/100k "covers" fully but i dont know what the mogi does as it insures the "engine"

Wow, unless your car just falls apart $130 probably isn't worth it. Plus they probably have pages of stipulations they can use to deny claims. It's a super shady industry man, save the money.

I don't know I mean 131 for coverage sounds nice considering the 8's "tendency to break down or whatever you want" But the 131 or 1500 (131x12=1572) into a CD or just bank account and make that your "extended warranty". Have the cash upfront and never "loss it"

They are real.

Real scams that will screw you over and cost you more money then they are worth.

put 130 dollars a month into a savings account for car repairs if you're really so worried. by the time anything goes wrong with your car, you'll have several thousand dollars to use towards repairs.

well the $131 a month covers all engine and drivetrain problems...the best example is if i were to blow my engine they would pay for repair or replacement. Car insurance usually covers the person in the car next to you and the outer shell of the car. Anything like cooling issues or complete engine failure would be covered my mogi. I just passed my mazda warranty. And I just had my radiator and water pump replaced. costs about 800.

I guess i will do more research

Factor in 130 a month, for how many months before you have a problem they might cover. And even if they do cover it, you haven't listed what your per-incident deductible would be. If it's high enough, you could pay out of pocket for smaller repairs, warranty or no warranty.

That is horrible. Mine (yes $100 deductable but whatever) cost $2k for 2 years and is bumper to bumper....So $1,570 a year $3k 2 years only engine doesn't sound very appealing, but yeah what happen to your 8mo/100,000 miles you already over the hump?

Save those money up

if your engine dies, grab a good reman from Mazart for around 3K, they just did a "crazy" promote a week or 2 ago for 1900 each. All gone now

Dude, are you serious?

First, that's almost 1500 USD per year.

Second, the motor is warranted by Mazda for 8 years or 100k miles.

Third, the powertrain is warranted by Mazda for 5 years or 60k miles.

Fourth, you can pretty much replace any component that goes bad, including the motor - even after the 100k mile warranty is up, for two years of those ridiculous payments, which are 3 grand.

Fifth, most of these companies are absolute scams, great at collecting your premiums, then fighting you tooth and nail if anything needs to be covered. And then, if you win, they're likely to be out of business after a few years anyways.
