Anyone call your 8 names?
No one has given my car names, but multiple people have called me rice boy for owning it...... That pisses me off because it is NOT a riced out car... It's suppose to sound beefy, no coffee can needed.
Elanore named her after the shelby in gone in 60 seconds because its my second rx8 first one totaled and this one was involved in an accident about a month after I got her..... hmm

my 2 year old cousin calls it "Broom Broom" lol its great makes me feel good lol he lives across the street so when i get home from work if he is out there he will yell it and then run n see me haha
In polished Brilliant Black, Batmobile, hands down. It even evokes the turbine whine. To enhance the raider-of-the-night feel, I'm checking into what I can do to put in an IR night vision camera using the Nav screen as a display.

Some high school kid working at a gas station asked me," Is it true there's no motor under the hood?"...none that you've ever seen is my reply. So I had to "take off from the pumps with a little squeal of the tires". Now every time I go to that station, he asks me to show him my 8's engine..."Oh No I say because there's only MAGIC under my hood...Pure MAGIC but no motor". So now I'm the "no motor sportscar dude" around here. Rotary engines are MAGIC to some and unknown to most...LOL.

I call mine Shin Chan, but my friends/ co-workers call it The Rex or Wankel. It's funny, most people call it Wankel because of my plates and not because they understand the reference. Most of them just think it's a nick name.
