Anyone call your 8 names?
 

Yesterday one of my co-workers asked me how my Bat Mobile was doing. Then I realized he was referring to my 8 and I replied, "fine."

Some high school kid working at a gas station asked me," Is it true there's no motor under the hood?"...none that you've ever seen is my reply. So I had to "take off from the pumps with a little squeal of the tires". Now every time I go to that station, he asks me to show him my 8's engine..."Oh No I say because there's only MAGIC under my hood...Pure MAGIC but no motor". So now I'm the "no motor sportscar dude" around here. Rotary engines are MAGIC to some and unknown to most...LOL.

when picking out the name i wanted something exotic to match my baby's looks
i wanted something that sounded sexy and also something that was catchy and taken seriously.

thats when i came up with "Penelope" pernounced: PA NELL O PEA

I named her Eve. I thought it was fitting and a lot of my friends will call her that but my sister for some reason calls her the "short bus":uhh: I think its its to mostly piss me off.

No one has given my car names, but multiple people have called me rice boy for owning it...... That pisses me off because it is NOT a riced out car... It's suppose to sound beefy, no coffee can needed.

People call it Car.

Elanore named her after the shelby in gone in 60 seconds because its my second rx8 first one totaled and this one was involved in an accident about a month after I got her..... hmm

In polished Brilliant Black, Batmobile, hands down. It even evokes the turbine whine. To enhance the raider-of-the-night feel, I'm checking into what I can do to put in an IR night vision camera using the Nav screen as a display.

I call mine Shin Chan, but my friends/ co-workers call it The Rex or Wankel. It's funny, most people call it Wankel because of my plates and not because they understand the reference. Most of them just think it's a nick name.

Mine is named Widow. People are like, "But it's not black..." I reply, "It's not a fracken spider."
