I don't care If they make a 3 Rotor, turbocharged, Flux capacitor carying, talking 8 that can tickle your nether regions while you drive.
I like my 8 the way it is, and it brings a smile to my face evry time I open the garage in the morning.

If they make a better one later on and you want it that much trade it in!
I bought my '06 knowing what I was buying amd am happy with it.
I hope you knew what you were buying when you dished out 25+k for it.
If you were unhappy with it in the first place, you shouldn't have bought it.
But even if it is an automatic, it is still a great, and unique car.
Now go out to your car, start it up, take a good listen and realize that no other car being produced right now will ever have such a sweet sound as that renesis, and there is no engine being produced right now that is even remotely similar to this one.

Disclamer:
I am not a fanboy, I just happened to be fotrunate enough that the things that mattered to me happened to be the 8's strong points, and the 8's weaknesses (which I'll admit it has) are things that were really not that important to me in the first place.

I considered an AT for the novelty of being able to paddle shift...... But ultimately settled for MT. Hard to break the habit of all those years of driving stick shift.

And I'd actually be really saddened if I found out 06 or 07 were to have considerable more hp than my current car.

The Japanese have something called "Seihan"

It's a big plan, they are 5 years. While the car industry may be different, there won't be any major changes for 5 years from date of production using this philosophy.

Now that is June 2008.

I was so upset when I found out, I bought a new 2006 GT and drove it home Friday.

I'm crying in my beer, depressed and anxious over the fact Mazda didn't add anything new to the car for 2007.

Better luck next time, bunkie.

Could be worse. Your car might be bad on gas, need frequent oil checks, and make funny sounds in the upper RPM band...

You must be one sad kid. Or really rich. Cuz do you get saddened when a new laptop comes out with a faster processor/bigger HD? Or when digital camera has more Megapixels than the one you currently own?
I'm saddened how you don't appreciate what you have and want things that don't even exist yet.

Am I the only one willing to call this??

b/c you know we would all be pissed off pretty bad if Mazda rolled out an 8 that could tickle your nether regions while you drive. Especially if it wasn't available as an upgrade.

Yeah...I'll be the first to admit that I'd be green with envy. Nether Regions should be tickled as a factory option and not exclusive to new models!
