Hi there, I got my car back from the dealer the next day had to drop it off for a pcv hose fix, never got it they order the wrong part, so this week I am supposed get contacted again. Well they gave me another reflash a 2nd one and I looked through the paper work and it said open perform recall rough engine start.

got the same- I did produce a noteabley quicker start - not sure what it actually fixed- but iI like it better then before

I had mine checked in this month and the Service Rep told me that they're going to update my software because it was indicated in their computer that my car needed it. I didn't tell him that they already flashed it with "M" last April. I figure I should play the customer part and let them take care of their customer rather than say something that would make me look like a smartass.

When I got it back, it indicated my car already has it and no higher update is available.

nice to hear xyntax. finally a service dept followed the procedure correctly and then correctly informed the customer!! mark this day on your calendar folks- we have a WINNER!!

and thanks for the big grin too. 2 threads on the same day on the same thing every week for 3 months is getting to me
