I had myself a road trip from Columbus, OH to Seattle, WA. Took 3 days driving 13 hours/1000mi a day. I-90 is probably the most gorgeous interstate I have driven on before, the mountains in Montana were unreal, and driving through Idaho's curvy roads was a blast

Note how many 8s you see on the trip vs. Vetts or any other random sports car. I drove over 900 miles on busy interstate roads the last few days and only saw one other 8; and it was in a large town.

It'll be a good trip no matter how you take it. I've driven the 8 cross-country twice now. First time, I went through PA, accross the north, through vail, colorado, through vegas, to LA, then up the coast. 2nd time I went down through santa barbara, az, nm, tx, and then north east to dc. No matter which way you go you'll enjoy it. Personally, if I could, I'd head through Veil again. It is one of the most beautiful places I've ever seen.

Thanks guys. So far so good. At a cheap motel with free wifi right now. The car is doing great! Covered in bug guts and dirt, plus a rock hit my door and left a nice scratch . I'm in Iowa right now, it hit 97 degrees so I couldn't take it anymore and used the AC! haha

Huge hole is huge
I drove about 300 miles going up to NE last year. I enjoyed it every inch of the way. About to do it again in a month. Heading up to Plattsmouth. Then CAAMMPPINNGG!
I'm all down for a meet somewhere in the Midwest. Can't really think of an easily accessible place besides Kansas City to get together smack dab in the mid.
