Animals vs My RX8? Who Wins!
So when I was looking at buying my RX8 from this guy, he had some interesting stories about it. First, he hit a dead possum and ripped his whole front bumper off. No big deal, he ordered a new one, had it painted put it. Great. Well he had it parked outside a horse pasture (on paved road) and the horses decided to eat the rear bumper a little bit. Once again no big deal, nothing a little bondo or fiberglassing cant fix. I buy the car (still have to fix the rear bumper). I go for a little trip today, about a 3 hour drive. A stinking rabbit runs out in front of me. Ok, don't panic he is running from left to right, Im not braking or gone swerve sharply but I just give my steering wheel a slight turn to the left so he can get across cleanly. I dont care about the rabbit, I care about my car. The little bastard stops and becomes road kill. I hit him with the right side of my front bumper. I started cursing because I knew he messed something up. I get to the next gas station to check it out. Yea, not pretty. He splintered the front body kit in about 4 different places and from the bumper bending breaks the bracket that holds my turn signal in place. So now I have a turn signal hanging off the side of my 8. Not cool. I hope that bunny didnt die right away but rather layed on the side of the road where nobody else could hit him and he had a long slow death. I have to wait until Monday to hit up the dealership because podunk hillbilly alabama doesnt have one in every town.

when I post the pics of the damage, ill post some pics of the whole car...its done up real good...... 05 GT Racer Bodykit, R1 Exhaust, Staggered 19's, Lowered about 1", CF Hood, CF Adjustable Spoiler...like i said I put pics on here tomorow

Nah the rabbit ran out in front of me and I was on the highway...its not like i tried to hit the bloody thing....
still tryin to get these pics of my camera to show ya'll....its being jewish right now. both the camera and the computer. lol

i gotta similar story. i was on the highway and i was boxed in with a truck to the right and some big *** roadkill in front of me. when i get to work i look at the damage and the animal completly destroyed my plastic shields under the car , ripped out the 02 sensor and left chunks of meat hanging on all of my shields

So one day I was out enjoying a drive on a fairly windy, 2-lane country road. I was holding the posted speed limits in the straights, but hanging the corners briskly. On a long straight I noticed that a rather large land-yacht (about an '80's vintage Lincoln) was tailgating me. He had plenty of opportunity to pass, but just hung there. Lo and behold, I suddenly spotted a large dead skunk in my lane just over the next rise. It looked fresh. So, at the very last second I swerved around it and then watched in the mirror as the land yacht nailed the skunk with his left tires. I hope he enjoyed the smell. Hahahahahaha!
