Almost 2 years of ownership and the only things that I've added are a tint, amp and subs, and tires (due to the originals wearing out)! I am in contemplation on adding some type of power boosting part (ECU and/or FI) but there still aren't enough options out there for me so I will wait and see what develops!

We got the 2005 key. Does that count. Otherwise, basically stock. Upgraded to 6 CD changer and added spare tire kit.

My 8 is basically stock too, just added a couple small things that can't touch the warranty - ie: strakes, clear corners (didn't like the orange effect on winning blue), and painted brake calipers.

you are crazy xP
jp jp...
to most ppl who do mod their cars... it is a hobby and a social scene i guess. and ppl love to be under their cars going through cuts and hard labor to later drive that car and feel/hear the difference. to me thats wat modding is all about.

but then again there is nothing wrong with being stock. its probably smarter but ::shrugs::

I too have a stock Shinka with appearance package. Except for the dealer options I got when I bought it, spoiler, collapsible cargo carrier, cargo tray, cargo organizer and cargo net. Have the moon roof defector and door edge guards but not installing them. Gave away the all weather floor mats...to Matt no less. :p

I was thinking about the clear corners but I decided I like the orange better against the Black Cherry. To me the whites look better on lighter color cars.

Other than that the only thing I'm going to change is to get the rotary accent package.

I'm happy!

haha! um, well, it does seem that there's a lot of owners on here that have modified quite a bit or at least something...I've litterally only had my car a week but love it so much I see no reason to modify anything on the car...I could see why enthusiests and/or race participants might want to alter things on it but as a 'regular' consumer, I'm freaking happy with the vehicle 'as is' You and me both!

Up to now I haven't had any performance mods, but I'm about to change that after my first track session. Higher-performance brake pads and a beefier anti-sway bar are now in my forseeable future. And maybe a RB cat-back exhaust just for entertainment's sake.

I got some noticeable fade on my stock brakes as they heated up (which is a bad thing to discover as you're approaching a corner at 95 mph...) And I was rolling more in the corners than I wanted to.

Other than that, I need more seat time before any other mods would make much of a difference.
