Hey yesterday I had a alarm problem i think?, went and I locked the car the lights wouldn;t flash and it only would of hunk, so I did a test and sat in the car while I ingaged the alarm and then opened the car nothing. So for like an hour I tried to figure it out and see what was up. I locked, unlocked, no lights flash hmm... I thought the alarm or something with the wiring was wrong? well panic button works. Finally I go to my car again and go inside turn the key put the window down, get out of the car and ingage the alarm, then I open the door and it goes off, yey . For some reason it finally worked again. My friend and my brother said I probably disingaged the alarm, I never knew you could do that, well I somehow ingaged it back and it works now.
Did anyone experience this, or know of this situation.

 

I take it you have a after market alarm right? I never experienced your situation.
I'm looking into the Viper I had one on my Eclipse and that thing was loud.

 

So far all of the reports where the lights didn't flash on locking/arming the alarm was due to the trunk not being closed.

 

Also the alarm won't arm if the hood was unlatched, but hopefully we'd notice that. The trunk being unlatched is easy to miss.

hmmm. well i had the whole car locked and everything, well i will reread the manual to check how it works of not ill ask the dealer. thx for the pointers.
