Air condition on?

Hey all,I was wondering if this is normal. When I turn my fan on with it set to cold and air is turned off it seems to blow cold or very cool air out.It feels like the air is turned on but its not,I looked under the hood and the air condition hose is very cold and has dew (water drops) all over it like the air is on.I checked the compresure and it wasnt engaged when I look at it.
Does anyone else have this problem or is it normal?
Thx all I have to goto work now.Shark

It depends on where you have the vent settings. If it involves floor in any manner, your compressor is engaged.

if you have the vent set to either floor or window, your compressor will automatically turn on

the click is usually from the belt being engaged when you turn on the air. when the air is off, the belt (or sometimes just the gear) is disengaged. its normal as far as i know (thats the way it works in most cars that i know of at least)

I think the click is from the compressor clutch engagement. My old Honda's did it. Its the sound of a solenoid pulling in the clutch.
