if you have an after market intake on. do this test. Rev high in the freeway over 60MPH and drop the gear to N and see if the car dies, or idles funny. i did this accedentaly once and my car died......just wanted to see if it happens to anyone else.......

Just kidding, do a search I've actually seen others talk about this happening and it could be very dangerous.

 

all you do is shift to a gear and then the car is on again......i just wanted to see if it happned to anyone else......

nothing with my hks intake...mine works and runs flawlesly..

 

did u redline it and put it on N at about 60mph?

 

K & N i don't have to go out and drive to know what mine does. The rpm guage will bump up and down generally go below 500 rpms and then bounce to about 1k.

 

My mother always used to say this (similar):
