After the horror... I want another Rx8

After my last one rolled itself down a hill and destroyed itself, ...AND after my anger at the recall I got in the mail explaining how the O2 sensor didn't read right and could cause excessive heat under my car compromising *of all things* the emergency brake....and seeing how I didn't get a dime out of the 5k I threw up a wild hog's rear....

Years, 1 Xterra at 54k miles and PLENTY of lost pride later, I'm truly considering getting myself into a new RX-8. I have already gotten the guy to offer me one at 24.3 out the door with taxes and titles, my last one I bought at 24.8. Factory incentives are going nuts, but the selection is pathetic.

Wish me luck in my endeavor to finding a Red, Performance package, no spoiler 6spd guys. I'm in Alabama and I think the nearest one that met that criteria was in Michigan!

there's simply something perfect to me about this vehicle. i don't like that it eats oil instead of cycle it...but keep an extra bottle of oil with u at all times and you're set.

everything from the looks to the interior to the performance. it's just ....and i LOVE MY XTERRA. it'll be hard letting THAT go. but by George if the price is right..

anyhow, PM me when you all find out about that class action lawsuit for the o2 sensor messing up the e-brake.

take care guys, i'll keep the updates rolling through if i actually bite the bullet this round *may wait out until the next year's incentives start hitting hard...this time next year maybe*

The second I have truly made my mind up to do this thing, I'm going to take that advice. And if it works, you sir are a saint. So thanks a bunch. Just say Phil from the RX8 forums??
