AccessPort Fun: Post your times!

If you have the Cobb AccessPort you know that there are some fun features that come with the AP: 0-60mph time, 1/4mi time, and Dyno run. I know that it isn't 100% accurate, but it can give one a glimpse at their RX8's potential.

I just pulled these this morning on my way to work, keep in mind I have my winter tires on:
60': 2.243s
330': 6.158s
0-60mph: 5.53s
1/8mi 9.383s @ 78.932mph
1000': 12.142s
1/4mi: 14.495s @ 96.956mph

So lets see 'em, post up your numbers!

I'm getting 9.8sec 1/8mi , 14.7sec 1/4mi. Seems to me the AP speed features are way off from reality. I'll see about making a screen shot later.

Nope I think the speeds are too fast. Most of us(I think) are going to run low low 10's in the 1/8 and 15 even in the 1/4. .2 to .3 sec difference is quite large in the 1/8th So not to bust OP's ***** but 9.383 on winter tires is a bit optimistic but it's a fun thread not to be made serious. So it's going to be interesting to compare results and thats about it.

I always thought a stock 8 ran the quarter in high 14s?? now low 15.

But I have never ran it myself and I cant remember anything that would prove me right lol

Dunno bout manual - Stock autos (like me!) should be running 17-18s. Let's see if that proves right...

I know these aren't 100% legit times, there will be a varying margin of error. I just never saw a thread where people posted their data. The AP just pulls data and does the math, its not the same as running the 1/4 or a dyno.

But it is fun to ready the AP, then run the car hard to see how you did. Also, I don't drag my car, I just have fun with it.

Well i lost about 30~50lbs with my exhaust setup, flywheel, intake, etc. So that means my gt is ~3250lbs with me in it. I have it set to either 3200 or 3300 iirc.

There is a speed shop near me that will weigh my car and see my weight balance...but I'm not going there until my tune is done...b/c i want to see my numbers on the dyno.

I ran mid 9's in the 1/8th at the track when my car was stock. The numbers seem about right really. Probably not perfect but gives you an idea.

FWIW my 2004 GT with spare tire minus nav and lighter wheels and tires (approx. 16lbs weight savings) weighs 3070 on the scales. Should be around 10-15 pounds lighter now after swapping in the Corksport exhaust.

Hmmm....I might weigh less then what I think. I have a gt, minus navi and spare tire. Plus exoticspeed race pipe and greddy sp2...and aem cai.

I guess I'll have to weight myself to be sure.

Who has some other numbers to post? I know there are more ppl.

Hah. I went out today in extreme anticipation of doing this...

...only to find out I left my AP at home.

In my defense, I was working on my endlinks and had to take the car to a shop to get the stock nuts off (was seized like mad), and that sort of distracted me.

I'll try to do it tomorrow

i've run 9.3 stock in the 1/8. so those numbers are not impossible. but tested from an accessport on a car with snow tires is a bit.. off. and the 0-60 in 5.5 seconds is definitely off.

the AP once said had over 300hp.
