Accessories catalog released!
My dealer just called me at work to tell me that they just got in the RX-8 accessories catalogue. He's sending it to me and hopefully, I'll get it by tomorrow.

Mine called as well. He said this is a through list of accessories including things like the leather Emer. Brake handles and Shifter *****, valve stim covers, wheel centers, etc. He said they are working on prices which means these are up to the dealer on markup.
I want to the list but I also want to know prices. Their are a few things in the extended options list I would like to look in too getting.

I know I'll find out tomorrow, but any idea if these are options that can be installed at "port" or by the dealer later?
Also, I'd like to get the nav system installed later, I wonder if this can even be done (I've searched and didn't find anything) - prob cost way too much to justify (plus I betcha if they did offer this, they'd have to rip apart your car to install it)

the mazdausa website says the nav must be ordered at the time the car is ordered because it can only be installed at the factory. so if you want one after you get your car it will have to be from an aftermarket company.

We'll find out soon enough!
Hopefully, someone will call and then stop by their dealer to pick up this new catalogue... . If not, I'll post what in it when I receive it.

i picked up the brochure at lunch...very nice. i recommend it to everyone. :D
the list in the other thread is short only one item:
polished rear rotary accent
i'm figuring BRx8 over looked it cuz it's included with the front accent in the "rotary accent package." i guess this means u can get one or the other if u don't want both. (why would u do that?)
those were under the heading of "accessories available through your mazda dealer."
the following are "options" listed after the "option packages" (sport, touring, GT, appearance and rotary accent) that i hadn't seen before:
all-weather floor mats
alarm shock sensor upgrade
collapsible cargo carrier
door edge guards
all of the options had "O/A" after them denoting "Optional" and "dealer-installed Accessory"
so...no aluminum/chrome fuel door...yet. i'm guessing they'll offer it and some of the other accessories u can get for the miata and 6 at a later date. (look at the accessories for those cars on the mazda site for examples.)
now it's all about the rotary trimmed START BUTTON!!

I'm assuming that you guys are talking about the new RX-8 brochure that had all the new accessories listed? I've alrady got two of those- I don't need to run BACK out to my dealers, do I?

Clarification:
I believe that there are THREE brochures:
1 - thin red fold-out (initial release)
2 - new, larger brochure released last week
(this is what the dealer gave me when I placed my deposit this past Sat)
3 - a NEWER accessory brochure that my dealer just got in today.
He called me when I first got into work this morning (Tues 5/20) and said that he'll drop it in the mail, so I should have it tomorrow evening.
Maybe my dealer got confused and thought that #2 was new - I dunno. I'll find out on Wed night.
EDIT: whoops! I just realized that I've been spelling catalog with an "UE" at the end! Duh! - Doesn't matter b/c I changed them all to "brochure"
