Question About to buy myself an 8 :-D

I've been saving up for the money to buy an 8 for the past year now...(keep in mind i'm only a junior in HS so its pretty damn hard to save up that much money) and finally when i'm at the dealers...i have this stupid question in my head which should be the easiest part...what color should i get?! right now...i think my two choices are the velocity red or the metallic blue...in the red i loooooooove the interior but the color of the metallic blue is just sick...this guy from the dealer is callin me up right when he gets the 2005 models in so let me know soon!...thanks in advance...oh yah...happy to join you guys in rx8club.com

go for red. the black/red interior is gonna make you much more happy than the exterior color, because you spend so much more time driving than looking at the outside.

Junior in high school and enough money to pay cash (assuming since a 17 year old can't finance) for an RX-8? What kind of afterschool job is that maybe I should quit my full time job. Get the blue.

Sounds like you want the blue. Go for it. You can't go wrong with either color. Either way, you're going to have a sweet ride. Kids at your school are going to go nuts. Start saving up for mods, heh heh.

By the way, why not an 04? It's the same car, but the 04's are cheaper.

Cool Get Titanium Gray!!!

You won't regret it, get it in titanium gray, i'm getting it that color because it does'nt look dirty when it get's dirty!...Plus i like the way it brings out the outline of the car!
but it's your choice dude, i'm just suggesting this color because it's my favorite color for the RX-8, it's like a silver bullet!!! :D

The sound of the rotary engine is what makes driving a thrill. The exterior color is what makes stepping out of the car a thrill. Who cares what color your seat is? :p

Black.

Black with the black / red interior is the only way to go, honestly. You'll regret anything else (though you'll regret black every second day for having to clean it).

Stock for stock the Neon will beat the RX-8 in a straight line, if the neon is modified forget it. Buy a porsche 911 turbo then show that neon whats up.

No complaints with all black inside. The red/black looks sharp, but I don't know how it will hold up with time.

I have the V'Red with the black/red interior and I love it and so does everyone that has seen my car. Us Red's have to stick together.

Red outside, black cloth inside. Excellent interior. I wouldn't mind the red and black, but the black alone is pleasing to the eye and the cloth grips my backside well and never gets too hot.

I love the red. It's an amazing color with those gold flecks in it.

In a few days, I will have had my 8 for a year. I am convinced now that it is the best car I've ever driven, and I've driven quite a few nice cars. It is a fantastic machine. Light, precise, reliable, tossable, composed, sophisticated, gorgeous, quick, fast, responsive, high-revving, spacious, comfortable, luxurious ... it's got it all.

Yep me too!! Red with Black and red leather!! good colors. The red had to grow on me though. Never owned a red car before. It shines rather nice when its clean. Its looking like for the 05s white appears to be in too. Not sure about the white ones though.

Tough decision!

I was set on the blue, until a couple of weeks ago. I went to the dealer and saw the blue and red side-by-side.

Now I just don't know.

Lightning Yellow is the ONLY color. Not that I'm biased.

But, if your parents are signing for it, then it's their car and not yours. Don't forget that.

Oh and go smack your dad for me and say "A parent on the RX8 web club wants to know "what the hell are you thinking buying your kid a car with this much performance."

Yes, I'm prejudiced. I can easily afford to do this for my sons, but I love them too much to let them kill themselves with a high performance car.

Red is classic, especially with the red and black seats. Everyone loves a red sports car. Blue is riskier, more hip. Do you want to be Tom Sellick or Wolverine? :D

Of course, the true classic, the hallmark of refinement and impeccable taste, the color of my RX-8...

Silver.
