How bad, how good are the emissions on it ?

They're supposedly very good- LEVII compliant according to Mazda. The redesigned exhaust ports on the Renesis reduced intake/exhaust overlap and really cleaned up emissions from previous rotaries. But then again we're supposed to have better mileage than previous rotaries too .

well the fuel consumption is supposely to be better... but from what i can see it's still bad... and if it did get better then this leads me to think that the RX-7 was like really really horrible at furl consumption... unless the change wasn't big....

and the smissions should be good as they changed the rear end piping to meet the emmision standards in NA.... thats y the RX8 here is 238 and not 250HP

The emissions must be just cutting it IMO, with a slight smell of oil and smoot on the tailpipes, how clean can the emmissions be. FYI...My friend had a G1 RX7 and he was lucky to average 12 miles to the gallon. And it used much more oil than the Renisis.
