6k miles and misfires...?

Really? 2 misfires at 3k and 5k in 2nd. Car feels sluggish and sounds like it's sucking more air than usual.

What do ya'll think? I'm thinking it's flooded or I got lemon coils.

You can still drive your car; it's not flooded.

Wires are fine, I'm not going to pull the plugs just to check, I'm going to drop it at a dealer and have them diagnose the problem.

That's a relief.

if the wires and tight and u didn't mess with the ignition system...I'm guessing a bad batch of coils...but could be a number of things....but misfires=coils usually around here(or wires in the wrong place or loose)

Thanks for the peace of mind, bros.

It's not gas, I've never gotten lower than 93 and this has gone through 2 1/2 tanks with this problem. (had to drive home from WV :\)

^ 09 with 6k. I noticed it feeling sluggish at 5.3k changed the oil and drove back and forth to WV and it definitely felt like it was lacking on the highway. Seemed like I had to push in the gas way too much just to keep ~75

This car has very little torque. Misfires are normal as car runs rich from factory.

I've not had a misfire yet

Take it to the dealer and see what's up. Warranty ftw.

Are you really suggesting that I've been driving around for a week with the ebrake engaged?

Really?

The more I'm thinking, how do you know you are getting misfires? Do you see the CEL flash, or are you going off of performance?

Does this happen at idle or when you're driving in gear?

Idle is fine which doesn't lend itself to my coils theory. The complete list of symptoms is stumbling tach, car seems to be decellerating faster than usual, at highway speeds a shift into 6th causes decelleration.

EDIT: SO with no CEL it's probably a tranny problem, no?

The dealer is not going to be able to replicate the problem that you describe.

If there was a CEL, the code would've been stored and they would've been prompted to check the coils out. I was also experiencing hesitation (also with no CELs) about two weeks ago. I took the car in to have it checked out and they couldn't replicate the problem.....so coil replacements.

I did reset the KAM and NVRAM....after my CAI install. This helped me from getting any misfires and also have the car re-learn its fuel trim. I'd try the resets first.....it seems like you just installed the AEM intake as well.

I've had the intake on for 3k miles now. I think I was just being crazy or my car didn't like the elevation of WV and West MD.
