From 350z to RX8
From 350z to RX8
I just traded in my red 350z to a brand spanking new Gray RX8 GT . I'm happy with my decision but i must agree that my Z is one fast car but my new RX is a more complete car . I just said goobye to my friends at 350zmotoring.com and just signed in tonight on this forum and i must say that this one big community of 8's gear heads.
Congratulations on your purchase. I'm a new 8 owner, too, and have been very pleased with the car so far. It's very well-rounded: good power, great handling, comfortable, sophisticated, even practical for a sports car. You should love it.
You traded in a great car, too, but I think you'll find the 8 a lot more liveable on a day-to-day basis. And a LOT more comfortable.

350z has a more macho feel due to its bull frog stance and deep sounding exhaust note, but it has a clanky shifter, unrefined ride, too simple looking interior no sunroof as an option, ride is too noisy even if you replace the tires, no back seat and the most i hate about my Z now is THERES TOO MANY Z ON THE ROAD NOW !!!! too many that it will be just like a honda civic that you see in every corner of the roads.
One of the guys where I work bought a new Z about 2 days after I got the RX8. He prefers his Z over the 8 in part for the power and ear candy it makes at 5000+ RPM.
We get about the same fuel mileage, although I do a bit more highway then he does. The one thing he really doesn't like about the Z is the tiny cargo area. He and his wife are going to Colorado next week in his wife's Accord as her suitcase won't fit in the Z.
Persoanlly I see the Z as a Sports Car and the RX8 as a Touring Car. They both have their strengths and weaknesses, so it depends on one's lifestyle and needs.

thanks for the list of my posts.
I search first before I post almost all the time. If I don't find enough information to thoroughly satisfy my question during the search and make a post.
You seem to forget that a good search depends on the right keywords. Sometimes the keywords I have in mind for my question may not match up and therefore I do not get the info I need.
Capiche?
