Yes, winter just arrived in Montreal... 30 cm of snow this morming.

I took my RX-8 to work and the drive on the road was pretty good (trucks cleaned the streets). BUT, when I got to work, they cleaned half of the parking lot anf I had to drive over the snow.....
and I got stuck! damm I do not line winter.

So, my first experience with my 8 was average on the snow... but it's not because I have a 8 I got stuck, any car would of....

I can wait to go home and wash her, she full of snow..

Pauvre toi Simon... I left my 8 nicely under the "tempo" and it stays there until everything is clean in the streets. I did not buy winter tires and i will only drive it when eveything is cleaned. I bought a "salter" for the next few months.

You just got hung up on snow depth, I'd guess. The 8 moves rather well with winter tires, but we don't have a lot of ground clearance, and the car is relatively light. But then, other cars will get hung up in deep snow also.

 

been driving mine 6 weeks now in the snow,have had close to 5 feet sense october.have drivin over 3000 miles on my 18' m3s and love every mile.im sure glad we dont salt are roads here though.

 

I miss my MTL winters....trying to drive down Hotel de ville in an ice storm....why did I ever move to sunny california...

Hopefully I will drive up there this summer with my 8, zoom, zoom, zoom...
