Question 2010 RX-8 Trim Choice

I'm in the market for a new car and I've pretty much decided on the RX-8. I have not, however, decided on the trim. I was leaning toward the R3 for better performance, but I like some of the luxury features of the Grand Touring. So, to those on here - does the improved suspension, etc. make a noticeable difference on the R3?

For reference, I will primarily be driving around town, but I plan to do some autocrossing and the like on occasion.

Thanks!

I am not sure on all the differences, but I would guess it is easier and cheaper to add some performance to the GT package, than luxury to the R3 package.

Though you do get the different body kit on the r3.

R3 unless you desperately want a sunroof. The only other thing that the GT has is really electric seats with heaters and Nav (as an option).
