2009 Taillights.

are the interchangable with the 04 models?? does anyone know?? cuz i like those alot..

someone has swapted out the rears but required a lot of work... some 8 owner from VEGAS or ARIZONA with a VR 08..... dont remember his thread.... he has a full mazdaspeed body kit.... check for it... if i find it ill let you know....look in the LAS VEGAS LOUNGE

it can work, but not without some minor body modification. IMO not worth the swap just get a decent set of LED's

Not worth the effort.
If they were a direct bolt-on, I'd pay dealer mark-up for them.

The 04~08 taillights look like they were made by Uncle Ben.

Don't get me wrong, they're top shelf ingredients from Uncle Ben.

But at the end of the day, it's still ricey-licious.

nahh. It would involve a new bumper, trunk and probably side fenders to make it look clean. I saw pre '09s and it looks kind of tacky. But the leds look real cool at night time.

I would have to agree with you but then again with my nephew having an o9 CWP the 09' tails are starting to grow on me very quickly... maybe a mod for me next year.... I have a good body shop... so we'll see

09 tails really are better, they're a lot like the Infiniti tails.

^+1 the LED's can be seen from far on the freeway.... at night... and are way way way brighter than stock
