2008: problems solved?

After searching and reading ( ), it seems like my 2008 doesn't suffer from some of the ailments that other years do: oil consumption lower, no flooding, perfect starting in all weather, etc. Mazda fix them? I got lucky? Opinions?

Mazda is selling less than 400 RX-8 a month in North America, can't really tell. But my 5/2003 build has be fine so I would say get any model.

My '06 is fine.

Oil consumption was never a problem for the 8. I have also never noticed any pattern of posts complaining about starting, other than those related to flooding or batteries that were dead for reasons not specific to the 8.

My 05 is having some serious problem.

The serious problem is that its giving me NO PROBLEMS AT ALL!

Running fine and all. Hmm, caught a lot of chick's attention too !

for ur question, 08 pretty much has all the updates Mazda made to the car. but I dont really consider those a *problem*. more like Mazda *fine tune* its car.
